About Us
This is the ideal base for the great outdoors. Whether it's Kayaking, hill walking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing, we've got it all covered for you. Oh, and not to mention all the winter sports our doorstep. Did you know, Glencoe has the longest and steepest ski run in Scotland....
Plus, there's lots more to do at a less energetic pace like scenic boat trips, museums, visit places of historic importance, castles, distilleries. Fort William is under 30 minutes away, ideal for shopping and restaurants and, if you fancy a trip over the Glenfinnan viaduct on route to Malaig, Fort William is where you can catch the Jacobite Train (Best to book in adbavnce)
If you're looking to simply relax, enjoy the views and maybe take in an afternoon tea, pop into the leisure centre for a swim or a sauna, we wouldn't blame you, after all, that's whats holidays are for.
The hotel is modern with spacious comfortable guest rooms to suit many tastes in our standard and feature rooms. Check them out below. For that, something to eat and drink the hotel is geared up with different options for you to choose from. Plus, when you book direct, that full Scottish breakfast is included.....Wow

How about a little history>>>>
Clear space. Clear mind. Clear soul. Having a little fun along the way, it’s what we’re all about.
Here you can make your heart race as you scale mountains, propel yourself across the lochs in a kayak, or how about biking through some of the world’s most famous landscapes? Feel the elements against your skin. The wind through your hair, the rain on your face (we would say the sun, but we’re in Scotland, mind). You can do that. Right here.
When you need to catch your breath, you’ll find us jutting out into Loch Leven. Waiting, keeping watch to welcome you for that well deserved celebratory drink. Bliss.
Did you know…
We were sustainable before our time – 25 years ago, instead of creating artificial land to build on, we repurposed the 30 acres of wasted slate from the Ballachulish Slate Quarry to build the peninsula we are on today.
You may also be wondering why we are called Isles of Glencoe. Well, when you look out across the water you will see a number of islands. Highland tradition called on local clans to symbolically settle disputes on these islands. Clansmen would row across the loch to the Isle of Discussion which sits just east of the Holy Isle and Burial Land. Here they were left with supplies, only to be rescued when those on the mainland agreed. They’d then sail out to the Isle of Reconciliation and celebrate their agreement.
What else?
Both Isles of Glencoe and our sister hotel, Ballachulish Hotel, joined Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels in 2016 after two years under their management.

>>>>If you’ve booked an advance purchase package: It’s our best value for money rate, no doubt about it. But the main reason for this is that you’ll pay the full amount when you book and it’s non-refundable. It can’t be exchanged for other dates, accommodation, goods or services. So if you cancel, you’ll still pay. Which is why we strongly recommend holiday insurance, as this is the only way to get your money back. We won’t try to sell you insurance as many of our customers are already covered, and there are lots of deals out there if you shop around. We find that most of the time, cancellations are due to unforeseen circumstances. But, to be as fair as we can to all of our customers, we’ll stick to the cancellation terms and charges that apply, whatever the circumstances are. So, to avoid any awkward situations, holiday insurance is the answer. >>>>If you’ve booked a flexible package We don’t even ask for a deposit, so you can pay the full balance of your stay when you arrive. Our best available packages offer lots of flexibility, and allow for cancellations up to 48 hours before you arrive. Up until this point you’re free to transfer your booking to other available dates. But, if you choose to cancel after 2pm, 48 hours before you’re due to arrive, then we can’t offer an exchange, and payment will still be taken from your credit card. In this situation, the only way to get your money back is if you’re covered by holiday insurance. In some cases, we might not have rooms or packages available on your new dates, so some changes may not be possible – but our team can advise you on this. We find that most of the time, cancellations are due to unforeseen circumstances. We won’t try to sell you insurance as many of our customers are already covered, and there are lots of deals out there if you shop around. But the reason we mention it again is so that if you do cancel, we don’t end up in an awkward situation (no one likes that). We like to be fair to all of our customers by sticking to the cancellation terms and charges that apply, whatever the circumstances are. >>>>Special packages In addition to these terms and conditions mentioned above, some special packages (e.g. Christmas and New Year etc) may have additional terms attached to them, these will be displayed at the time of booking, and they’ll form part of your contract. Please check https://www.islesofglencoe.co.uk/terms-conditions/ for full and up to date conditions.
