About Us

Cannich Cottage is a newly refurbished property next to our farmers cottage at Parbroath Farm, Balmeadowside. This cottage is finished to a high standard and has everything you need for a self catering holiday to Fife.

All on one floor the cottage has a master super king bedroom, a twin bedroom and family bathroom with shower over bath. The large open plan kitchen dining area leads outs to the enclosed garden with private hot tub. Cosy up next to the wood burning stove at night in the comfort of the lounge area.

Parbroath Farm is adjacent to our holiday cottages at Balmeadowside which offers fantastic walks for all levels of fitness, leave Cannich Cottage with your map and walk up to explore our well maintained walks meeting the locals on your way....pygmy goats, llamas, deer, birds of prey and live stock.

Check In and Deposits

If you want to cancel your booking Your contract with us is a contract for the provision of leisure accommodation on a specific date or dates and this means that you do not benefit from a “cooling off” period. If you need to cancel please inform us immediately whereupon we will endeavour to re-let the property. The closer your cancellation is to the start of your booking, the less likely we are to recover the cost of your booking by re-selling your accommodation. Our cancellation charges therefore increase as your start date approaches. NOTE: A £25.00 administration fee will be deducted from any monies refunded More than a month - we will issue a refund minus the value of the deposit (30%). The 30% retained can be used as a credit against a holiday any time in the following 12 months for which a voucher will be issued. Between 2 and 4 weeks - We will endeavour to re-let the property. If we do re-let the property we will refund by way of voucher the full payment paid by you minus a £25.00 admin charge (please note the balance amount you may receive from a re-let may not be the full amount you originally paid as the property may be discounted in order to facilitate a re-let). Less than 2 weeks - The total amount of your 30% deposit will be retained however, we will endeavour to re-let the property. If we do re-let the property we will refund by way of voucher the balance of payment paid by you minus a £25.00 admin charge (please note the balance amount you may receive from a re-let may not be the full amount you originally paid as the property may be discounted in order to facilitate a re-let). WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU TAKE OUT INSURANCE PROTECTION FOR YOUR HOLIDAY

We allow 2 dogs at Cannich Cottage with the price £30 for 1 dog and £45 for 2 dogs.

Parbroath Farm is a working farm and we do therefore ask that you keep your dogs on their lead.

We have several walks on site offering different levels of fitness.

If you would like to stay with more than 2 dogs please do get in touch as we may be able to accommodate this depending on the size of your dogs.

You'll find information in your welcome book on local cafe's, restaurants etc who are happy to accept dogs.
